M.M. and more… is more than ever expected!!!

This is my zweite Blog… und this one is still in English mit ein bischen Deutsch,

the premiere last week went really well.. I am so happy… with the dancers, the technik and of course the public!!! All took in the new creation with so much heart.. I even had tears in my eyes…

This week GD is preparing for Munich. We will be leaving next week for 6 days and will be presenting a GD Special… Ballet 101, Sofa, Bjork Duets, Susto, Air guitar and we will be bringing back to the stage ‘The blind leading the Blind’…. a piece we have not performed in awhile!!!! In the role of the blind man in Munich we will have a newcomer.. Stephan Moos from the Theaterhaus Schauspiel… viel glück Stephan!!!

GD will then be going on a little christmas break, before returning to the stage wih MM again in the end of December!

Also for all to know: the TH added an extra show of MM the 6th Jan and the new dates for Feb are the 2, 3 and 4th Feb… Aswell, my very favorite piece to dance is BACK… DON Q.. with just two dates(these maybe the lasts ever!) The 18 and 19 FEB… dont miss it… : )

The dancers are well, a bit tired from all the shows last week, but in very Gut spirits…

Armando and Lisa’s Noah is growing faster than ever… Gara is learning German quite fast… Maria has a dentist appointment tomorrow and must miss training, William, Guiseppe and Marianne are practicing for their songs on Sunday(TH concert)… Bjorn is learning Fishes… and Isabelle’s wrist is doing much much better!!!

GD is in gut shape… I am happy happy happy.. till next time Eric G

AUSVERKAUFT!

Die Premiere läuft seit einer guten halben Stunde. Die Halle ist bis auf den letzten Platz gefüllt!
Hier schon mal ein Bild (wenn auch ohne Blitz, und von weit hinten).

Aber zuviel wollen wir ja eh noch nicht verraten!

Die Vorstellungen im Dezember sind restlos ausverkauft, aber für die Termine im Januar gibt es noch Karten!

Vor der Show

Kurz nach halb 6:

Die letzten Vorbereitungen werden getroffen. Während auf der Bühne nochmal das ein oder andere durchgegangen wird, ist man in den Garderoben bereits gut vorbereitet.
Und Armando Braswell und William Moragas sehen sogar so entspannt aus, dass man meinen könnte, die Show sei schon im Kasten!

Mit etwas Glück gibt’s später noch ein paar mehr Eindrücke…

Gauthier Dance mit M.M. & more in Luxembourg

Am 18.11. feierte M.M. & more in Luxembourg Premiere.
Das Publikum und die Presse waren begeistert!
Ab dem 3.12.2009 ist die Produktion auch im Theaterhaus zu sehen.
Drei neue Stücke bilden den Kern des Abends: Weird Fishes, ein Pas de Deux zur Musik der Band Radiohead des italienischen Choreographen Francesco Nappa; Orchestra of Wolves von Eric Gauthier zum Kopfsatz von Beethovens 5.
Symphonie; und M.M. – eine Hommage an den berühmten französichen Pantomimen Marcel Marceau.
